Windows 2008 with IIS7 doesn’t enable support for f4v files by default.
Open the IIS manager and click on the website which requires the support for f4v files.
Next click on the icon for MIME Types.
Over on the options at the right column click on Add, to popup the Add MIME Type dialogue.
Enter the following details:
Filename extension: f4v
MIME Type: video/mp4
