ASCII Table of Numbers and Characters

An ASCII table of numbers and characters for reference.

The term ASCII stands for American Standard Code of Information Interchange.

The ASCII table was introduced to enable the translation of decimal code and hence the alphabet to a binary format. Originally an 8-bit encoding it has since been extended.
