Adding a new page to a DotNetNuke website I found the drop down list of templates was empty.
The template files have the extension .template. The DotNetNuke file manager needs to support this extension and the template files need to be in the database, listed within the file manager.
To add the template extension navigate to the page Host Settings/Advanced Settings and under the section Other Settings add the file extension [template] to uploadable files.
To update the File manager with the template files navigate to the File Manager and synchronise the template directory.
The templates drop down list will now be populated when creating a new page.
